Introduction E>GO is a revolutionary concept from ZENEC, the leading specialist in car multimedia. Exchange and GO – in short, E>GO – stands for a highly innovative generation of moniceivers and naviceivers that are designed to fit perfectly to the original looks of various vehicle types. With the first model of this new series – the ZE-MC2000 for the Golf 5 platform – a model that offers perfect match to the current SKODA vehicle line up has been developed in parallel, the ZE-MC5600. The E>GO unit for SKODA cars features a GUI in green color, as well as a green/white backlighting of all buttons to match with existing colors of the instrument panel. ZENEC‘s new A/V control unit has been perfectly harmonized to the following SKODA cars: SKODA Fabia Station Wagon + Sedan, Octavia Station Wagon + Sedan and SKODA Roomster and Praktik. In addition, E>GO is tailored perfectly to the target vehicle with its dedicated and specially developed mounting characteristics: ZE-MC5600 can be integrated without major installation works and without any additional adapters into the original factory installation cut-outs of all cars of the current SKODA line: simply remove the original radio, install E>GO and off you go. The use of the factory installed steering wheel remote control is just as easy: simply connect your E>GO moniceiver to the original radio harness of your car – and thanks to the integrated Stalk/CAN-bus interface, the functions of all optional factory mounted components are retained in their entirety. In addition to the RDS tuner that has been perfected for best station reception in European countries, a digital 4 x 50 watt power amplifier, or the integrated Dolby Digital decoder, the E>GO also features an integrated SD card reader, AUX line-in, USB port, and a full-feature Bluetooth module for hands-free calling and iPod direct interface (via media box). Additional ZENEC program components such as navigation, a DVBT tuner or a rear view camera can also be connected to the ZE-MC5600 and are like with the iPod or the hands-free phone system – operated comfortably via touch screen. Clear and detailed map views with 3-D objects to orient yourself, combined with precise voice guidance in 24 different languages, and an easily understandable GUI functionality available in 29 languages, enable a unique navigation experience. Thanks to a 400 MHz processor (64 MB SD RAM memory) and the optimized navigation engine of the iGo8 software – the ZE-NA2000N delivers top class performance with unbelievable smooth motion. The desired target can be found and entered in various ways: by address, postal ZIP code, P.O.I., longitude and latitude and stored/last found targets. The map representation can be adjusted to on-standard driving situations by selecting between various display scales and angles. The zoom function eases the navigation at crossings and at roundabouts, but most of all the 3-D landscape or 3-D city maps (with buildings, objects of interest, city plans) and of course the display of the highway traffic signs are features you will not like to miss once you had the chance to use.
