The new exceedingly high quality Zenec headrest monitor ZE-MU62D will make watching movies a real pleasure for passengers during the trip. The ZE-MU62D has a first-class digital Wide-VGA high definition panel with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, which makes for perfect resolution of picture detail at a high brightness level.
The display has LED background lighting – a factor that draws special attention to itself with the large color gamut, the altogether very strong, contrast rich colors and uniform illumination of the screen. One practical side effect is that light emitting diodes need less current for illuminating a screen and have a very high service life without loss of brightness.
As the headrests on many European and Asian vehicles are so compact, making 7" monitor models impossible to install, 15.7 cm/6.2" has since become established as the standard size. And Zenec's new HD model is no exception. With its 15.7 cm/6.2" wide screen display and the extremely flat, very attractively designed enclosure, it also fits in the smallest headrest and, compared with a 7" model, forfeits hardly any visible screen area.
The ZE-MU62D offers still another installation advantage. It is supplied with a special mounting frame that directly picks up or clamps onto the leather or fabric of the headrest cover. A very small diameter connection on the main cable allows the latter to be effortlessly run through the headrest members of any vehicle. It is therefore no problem even for the layperson to fit the ZE-MU62D – and with good looking results. Operation of the high definition monitor is simplicity itself. Capacitive touch sensors at the front of the unit allow easy, comfortable and speedy control of all functions.
At Zenec, the multimedia specialist, visual integration in the vehicle has long played an important role. The sensor buttons of the black polycarbonate enclosure have red LED button backlighting. This ensures compatibility with the interior lighting colors of vehicles such as VW, Audi, Ford etc.
The ZE-MU62D has two A/V inputs that respond to any video signal present. An integrated 2-channel IR transmitter module for sound transmission to wireless headphones and the remote control round off the set. The ZE-MU62D can be connected to all moniceivers and naviceivers, DVD players or DVB-T tuners with a Cinch A/V output.
