ZENEC stands for multimedia and navigation. ZENEC concentrates, with outstanding success, exclusively on the development of sat nav systems with additional complimentary components and accessories. The first multimedia systems made by ZENEC were introduced in 2005 – with resounding success. Today, ZENEC has established itself as market leader for monitor navigation in the German speaking territories.
ZENEC is a brand of the company ACR Braendli + Voegeli AG – Europe‘s largest car media specialist. The ZENEC headquarter is located in Bad Zurzach (Switzerland), close to the German border. The ZENEC headquarter is responsible for product development, product distribution and provision of related services.
ZENEC in-car infotainment products are developed almost entirely in Switzerland. ACR AG directly distributes ZENEC in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux territories, where in-car infotainment product sales take place via an exclusive network of approximately 200 specialty retailers. Close to 30 distributors located in various EU and non-EU countries add momentum to the degree of ZENEC brand awareness outside the German speaking core market.
Focus on one main product segment ensures continuous and persistent development of new products. This is a requirement for the realization of innovative and up to date product lines that offer a good to excellent price/performance ratio. All components made by ZENEC are perfectly matched and can be combined flexibly.
The ZENEC product range includes:
- E>GO naviceivers
- 2-DIN naviceivers
- Decken- und Universalmonitore
- DAB+ and DVB-T tuners
- Rear view cameras
- Complementary accessories
The E>GO concept is a system solution without equal for realizing in-car multimedia and navigation in an ingeniously simple way: E>GOs are a perfect fit – visually and technically – in the respective target vehicle.
Particularly important is the perfect integration into the existing vehicle electronics: the E>GOs are easily integrated into the vehicle internal data network via the CAN bus. And as tailor-made navitainers, they are well able to deal with all the vehicle-specific challenges: connection to the steering wheel remote control, the support of visual parking aids, or the integration of multifunction or climate status displays and onboard computers – according to the vehicle model.
The optimal integration and the great range of functions make ZENEC‘s permanently installed E>GOs the ideal aftermarket device to replace out-dated car radios and navigation systems. Equipped with the very latest features and technologies, an E>GO is also a top-quality alternative to factory-fitted navigation systems, which are often developed at the same time as the car model.
ZENEC E>GOs are avalaible for VW, SEAT, SKODA, FORD, OPEL, AUDI, BMW, MERCEDES, HYUNDAI and FIAT.
In December 2012, the first ZENEC Store opened in the Swiss Gebenstorf, at the beginning of January 2013 followed by the first ZENEC Store in Essen (Germany). In Germany up to now (Q3 2014), more than 25 ZENEC Stores are up and running. Beyond the borders of the DACH region the concept also convinces: In Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Australia new ZENEC Stores have opened their doors.
A personal and competent advisory service and the option, to get the product of choice professionally installed by an authorized specialty partner is, what best summarizes the quality of the ZENEC retailer and service network. Exited buyers, enthusiastic ZENEC Store owners and increases of sales turnover of up to 100% – a tremendous potential for growth in the mobile entertainment field…
Addressing the public audience is a strength of ZENEC. Presence on the major trade shows, such as the IAA in Frankfurt or the Geneva Motor Show, showing new innovative products to consumers and business affiliates is part of the successful promotion strategy.
In the DACH region ZENEC attends 50 to 70 local trade shows each year, arranged and attended by ZENEC Store partners located in the vicinity of the show event.
The ZENEC web presence is a central point of information not only for end consumers, but business partners as well. A dedicated ZENEC YouTube channel lists videos showcasing device functions. The videos are without narration, for worldwide use.
For the motorhome business channel, ZENEC cooperates with several major suppliers: for example the ERWIN HYMER GROUP, the largest caravan and motorhome manufacturer in Europe.
Another ZENEC partner is AMAG, one of the 50 largest Swiss companies and distributor of Audi, VW, Škoda, Seat, Porsche and Bentley automobiles and vehicle accessories.
Since 2014, ZENEC and the company ABT, the world‘s largest tuning specialist for Audi, VW, Škoda and Seat have formed a productive partnership.
