Update MainSystem Software

MainSystem software updates include enhancements and bug fixes of device functions. These enhancements are mostly of a specific nature; read the software release notes (overview of changes) in the installation manual. For the latest device models, MainSystem updates are published once or twice a year.

Navigation software update for ZENEC Z-N975

Navigation software updates (map data and system updates, as well as the free map update subscription for 3 years) can be downloaded from the Naviextras Internet portal using your PC or notebook. To update the navigation software of your device, follow these instructions:

1. To download updates, you need the Naviextras Toolbox software. The Toolbox is a free Windows utility which can be found under the following link: https://zenec.naviextras.com/shop/portal/downloads
2. After download and successful installation, the toolbox software opens automatically. Insert the microSD navigation card into your PC/notebook by using the supplied SD card adapter. After a short time, the registration wizard opens. Create a new user account or log yourself in with your existing user account. Once the registration process is complete, you can download updates for your device. Download the nav update update. Allow Toolbox to complete the file transfer to the microSD card. Close Toolbox. Then eject the navigation microSD card from your PC/notebook. Insert the microSD card into your Z-EN975. Enter “Settings” and access the submenu “System”. At „Navigation Installation” tap on the green hook. A pop up appears “Navi Update?” Confirm by tapping on the green hook again. The System will carry out the software update on your device. After the installation has completed, the Navigation will re-start and is ready for use immediately.
